"I'm running away for my 30th birthday. "

• Left Boston for Los Angeles.
• Stayed at Hollywood Roosevelt
• Mann's Chinese Theatre-"I took a peak in court yard. The best one was the Star trek one signed by Gene Roddenberry and the original cast. I also had a funny urge to see how big Tom Cruise's feet were compared to mine.(It's less than an inch bigger, but I was wearing my Docs.)"

• Universal City Walk My favorite store was Things from Another World
• Had dinner at Ponchos.(Where they shot a scene from "Jerry McGuire")
• Walked along Manhatten Beach

  11 Jan.

• La Brea Tar Pits "It was really cool, did you know there were camels here? They only found one human, a woman, who is believed to have been murdered 9,000 years ago."
• Lunch at the Hambuger Hamlet-They ahve a great veggie burger.
• Griffith Observatory to view the Hollywood Sign.
• Farmer's Market
• Shopping on Melrose Ave. My favorite stores where Wound and Wound and Golden Apple
• Went to Mann's to see "Relic".

• Drove to Santa Barbara
• Lunch at the Natural Cafe
• Walked down to the beach and pier-"Then I went down to the beach and pier. There were pelicans on the pier. I just went right up to them and they didn't care. Cool. Then I walked down to the beach so I could touch the Pacific."
• Stopped at the Santa Barbara Brewing Company to watch the Patriot's game.-"I had a yummie porter and a yummie red ale. I saw the 2cnd and 3rd quarters. The Patriots won btw. But I got bored and went shopping.
• Shopping on State Street.
• Drove back to LA to watch The X-Files.

• Disneyland-"I got there at 10:15 and went straight to the Matterhorn. I remember when I was 4 I was at Disney and I kept saying, 'Daddy, I wanna go on the screaming thing." and Dad said I was too little. I waited 26 years for that-it was fun. ! Then I wandered over to Star Tours-the guy that worked there was very nice...Next-Space mountain. Over all I had a great time. my favorite rides were The Indiana Jones Ride-something about a John Williams soundtrack-it was fun-and Splash Mountain. You cruise along and all of a sudden you drop and splash. I had my picture taken with Tigger."

• Warner Brother's VIP Tour-This was supposed to be the best lot tour in LA. It is, in fact very cool.
• Museum of Tolerance-"It was very powerful! I enjoyed the interactive LA Riot exhibit-very informative, Most of the museum is dedicated to the Holocost-WOW! Powerful stuff.
• I met My college friend Carolita at Chin Chin's on Sunset.
• Grauman's Chinese Theater- I saw Michael
  

  "Oh yeah, I've developed quit the LA attitude-Karies wsa talking about walking form my hotel to Santa Monica Blvd and I said it's too far to walk, you gotta drive. Later a woman in the elvator asked me if it was cold, I sadi yes. (it was 52 degrees)."

  I met my borther's friend Chuck for lunch, then Karies and Leslie for coffee, then Karies and I went shopping on Santa Monica and Melrose and had dinner on Sunset.

  "Then we went to a dive bar called the Powerhouse, Off Hollywood-No good beer-I had Beck's That is all.

  That's were the journal ends. On the 16th we drove up to San Francisco and attended a Forever Knight Convention.
