Chili

A round robin poem by Rebecca Barber, Scott Busman, Suze Campagna, Helen Oxford,Bruce Rowan, Paul Steib, and Wendy Wiseman

Eating chili under the lemon tree,
Hanging out, some friends and me,
The chili was hot, the Diet Coke was not,
I numbed my lips and wiggled my hips.

Give me a dollar and I'll put it in,
What I'll put it in, I'm not sure,
But still it's nice to sit with friends,
Chili is definately good.

Dog,cat, and hamster too,
All chopped up and in the stew,
Then add the beans to your broth,
While singing to David Lee Roth.

Sun beats down on a hot day in June,
We're all hanging out, but sadly no tunes.
There's chili tonight, but too zingy for me,
Just knockwurst, bun and cheese on a plate will I see.

Eating chili if it's really hot,
Makes me run like hell a lot,
To a certain spot,
Where the porcelain god,
Waits to weave his spell.
After eating chili you should feel real well?

Lots of chili on a day in June,
Chipoodle so spicy it makes you swoon,
Chili so tasty, so warm, so good,
I love chili, it's wonderful food.

Chili
Chili
Chili
Chili
Chili, chili, chili, chili
