I am a compulsive recycler...here you will find some recycling links.
Even if you don't have curbside rcycling in your neighborhood, there are still things you can do.
• Precycle-Buy items with less packaging. Buy items that are made from, or are packaged with recycled materials.
• Do you know a cumpusive recycler? They'd be happy to help you. Some people collect cans for the the homeless. Some homeless people collect cans.
• Watch the neighborhood. Sometimes schools and churches do recycling fundraisers.
• Check your local library. Some of them take used batteries and printer cartridges.
• Don't throw away printer cartidges. Office supply stores will take them, and sometimes even give you cash back.
• Do you really need another bag? Don't take a bag at the store, if you really don't need it. Save a plastic tree. Do you need a bag? Bring your own.
• Don't throw away those plastic bags. Grocery stores have a place to put them in the front of the store. Do you know anyone with dogs? Dog owners use lots of plastic bags.
• Are you really that sloppy? Don't take a hand full of napkins, when you really only need one or two.
